Artist Bio
Kalispell, MT - Sherry Salari Sander, animal sculptor resides in the Montana Countryside surrounded by a mini wildlife preserve, the setting for her home and studio. She draws much inspiration from the Alaskan bush to the African plains. Sander strives to foster an appreciation for declining wildlife populations and the desire to preserve their habitat.

One of the most endearing and unique qualities of any given Sherry Sander sculpture is its ability to draw the viewer in and generate an emotional response. Her impressionistic approach, while anatomically precise, is more a suggestion of form and design, focusing on the spirit and essence of the animal through movement and expression.

Sander's sculpture can be found in private and corporate collections including the Buffalo Bill Museum, the White House Christmas Ornament Project 2002, the National Museum of Wildlife Art and the Denver Zoo.
Her Professional Associations include: Allied Artists of America; American Artist Professional League; Artists of America, AOA Master; National Academy of Western Art, Elected 1986; North American Sculpture Exhibition; National Sculpture Society; Northwest Rendezvous Group; Scottsdale Artists School Instructor; and Society of Animal Artists. Awarded The Pietro & Alfrieda Montana Memorial Award.
